Caladiums Order

In 2010, the club will again offer its popular group caladium purchase at the March meeting. It’s a great opportunity to buy unusual bulbs at wholesale prices to add color to our gardens over the summer.

More Plants

The Falls Church Garden Club offers plenty of opportunities to get more plants—whether they’re old favorites or something new.

Spring Plant Sale

Typically in May, it offers numerous opportunities to acquire plants, and is open to the general public as well as to FCGC members. Volunteering  members are entitled to a free plant to thank them for their work. Refer to the Spring Plant Sale. Page and check the Seedling.

Fall Plant Exchange

Open to members only. Held as part of our September meeting, attendees are asked to bring potted perennial plants to exchange. Check the September Seedling newsletter for recommendations, guidelines, and rules.

Bulb ordering

This bulk ordering is sometimes offered (depending on whether a member offers to run it): by choosing from a selected list, members are able to order a larger number of bulbs, resulting in a discount to each member.

Informal Exchanges throughout the year

Get to know other members and what they grow. Gardeners often have extras and are glad to pass them along or swap. So “advertise” your extras, your interests, and your wants, verbally at meetings or in the Seedling (deadline for the next publication is included in each newsletter).
