Officers and Committees The FCGC is entirely staffed by volunteers. The officers of the FCGC include a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Several standing committees handle hospitality, membership, program, publicity, "The Seedling" publication, plant sale, and ways and means. The President may make additional appointments as necessary. The FCGC Executive Committee has general control of the affairs of the Club. It is headed by the President and consists of the officers, the immediate past president, and the chairs of the standing committees. Become a Volunteer! There are numerous volunteer opportunities for our members. The FCGC encourages all members to serve on committees and in board positions. Members can also volunteer for special projects or committees such as producing the club's annual membership directory. Our club can only be as interesting and diversified as its participants, and can only succeed when members share the workload. Volunteers get to acquire new skills, meet other members, and just have fun! Members interested in volunteering should contact our president.
